CAN-AM OUTLANDER 450/570

MEET YOUR MATCH

The most capable, ready-for-anything Outlander ever. With improved handling, increased stability, better performance, and a new look, the 2019 Outlander truly is built for whatever you throw at it.

PERFORMANCE

Can-Am Outlanders are reimagining what it means to be capable.

HANDLING

Corrective steering is a thing of the past. The Can-Am Outlanders are built for stability and precision, so they go where you tell them to, no questions asked.

DESIGN

Form, function, and fun. That’s the DNA of the Outlander family, and that's what goes into the design of each and every vehicle. What does that mean for you? It means riding in comfort and looking good wherever you go.

ROTAX 450 AND 570 ENGINE OPTIONS

CATEGORY-LEADING PERFORMANCE

Select from either a 38-hp single-cylinder, liquid-cooled Rotax 450 four-stroke or a 48-hp, eight-valve, liquid-cooled SOHC Rotax 570 V-Twin. The proven Rotax engines offer unmatched power and performance while remaining both reliable and efficient.

TORSIONAL TRAILING ARM INDEPENDENT (TTI) REAR SUSPENSION

ELIMINATES SCRUB AND CAMBER CHANGES

The industry's only independent rear suspension where the rear wheels pivot up and down in a vertical line rather than a more cumbersome butterfly motion. It is also strategically designed to offer point-and-shoot handling, optimal traction and the efficient transferring of power to the ground. With 5 preload settings on the shocks and 8.8 inches (22 cm)  of suspension travel, the Outlander soaks up rough terrain to keep the rider comfortable and focused on the trail.

DOUBLE A-ARM FRONT SUSPENSION

BETTER STEERING FEEL

Includes dive-control geometry for better cornering and vehicle-braking dynamics. The 9-in (23 cm) suspension travel increases trail comfort and capabilities in rough terrain.

VISCO-LOK AUTO-LOCKING FRONT DIFFERENTIAL

BETTER CONTROL

The Can-Am Visco-Lok† system is one of the most riderfriendly designs on the market, as the progressively and automatically locking front differential system requires no buttons to push or levers to hold. Once 4x4 is selected, the system intelligently transfers power from the slipping front wheel to the opposing wheel with traction and is not hampered by a speed or rev limiters.

1,300 LB (590 KG) TOWING CAPACITY

CARRY THE LOAD

Fully equipped to move a load, the Outlander has a standard rear hitch plate and a large 1,300-pound (590 kg) towing capacity.

Rotax V-Twin engine options

CONTINUE THE ROTAX LEGEND

Available with a 62-hp Rotax 650 or 78-hp Rotax 850 V-Twin engine, the new Outlander puts all that torque to the ground with responsive throttle, a signature roar, and power to spare. Renowned for flexible reliability in harsh conditions and easy maintenance, Rotax engines have seen every corner of the world—and that's not a boast.

Fully revised front and rear suspension

FOR REACHING NEW PEAKS

The most significant Outlander upgrade yet, it's all about taking the ride even farther. Starting with front arched A-arms, sway bar, and revised wheels for a wider stance and more confident handling. The independent rear suspension eliminates scrub and camber changes for unparalleled vertical wheel control—rather than in a flexive butterfly motion. Rotax power with leading traction and power transfer.

Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)

GRABS AND GOES

Rugged Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) technology gives you shiftless, responsive gearing at the right time. For ease of use, you can count on the engine braking feature to help slow you down when going downhill.

Surrounding Spar Technology (SST) frame

PROVEN TO PERFORM

Quality shines in everything we do—and the foundation is the next-generation, industry-exclusive SST frame with Geometric Contact Control. The efficient welded-steel frame incorporates advanced manufacturing processes and geometry for increased structural integrity, improved durability, and precise handling.

Hardworking standard features

WORKS RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX
